Grotesquo is a collaboration between Aurora Corsano, John DiGeorge and Jana Zeller. It is a dark comedy that combines puppetry with dance and tells the story of love between a maid, a beast and a foolish man. The show has been a favorite for audiences of all ages since its conception in 2003. The piece has been performed in a wide variety of venues including shop windows, street festivals, theaters and as a film short. Grotesquo has been presented in the Vermont at Sandglass Theater, the New England Youth Theater, Luminz Studio and as part of Gallery Walk. The show has also toured as a film to Here Theater in New York city in 2004 and as part of Chashama Theater’s Oasis festival also in New York City in 2007 and In 2008 at Les Sages Fous Soirees de Theatre Insolite Festival in Trois Rivieres, Quebec.
